While attending the University of Connecticut, I developed a business/product concept for my Professional Communication course. I created a self-care daily planner designed to encourage organization, mindfulness, and balance in everyday life. I chose this idea because I think self-care and structured planning are essential tools for maintaining productivity and mental well-being in both academic and professional settings.

Through this project, I strengthened my skills in creativity, research, brand building, and product development. I also applied critical thinking to identify a real-world need and design a solution that is both practical and user-focused. This experience allowed me to explore how thoughtful design and messaging can create value for a target audience, while also improving my ability to present ideas in a clear and professional manner.

passion project: app

I created a social media app for shopping called FitFeed. It combines shopping at many different stores, buying, scrolling through fashion videos, posting, tracking orders, and messaging friends. I made this because creating and designing is something I love to do and feel very passionate about. Fashion and social media design are also an area I would love to work in. This project highlights my skills in marketing, creating, designing, and business and shows how I can merge creativity with a business strategy. Designing this allowed me to showcase my ability to be creative and contribute to brand building with elements such as logos, engaging company names, and overall brand aesthetics.

Passion project: campaign

I designed a collaboration between the brands Rhode and Poppi. As both companies are trending and extremely popular right now in the media, combining them only brings more attraction and sales from their audiences. With the target audience being gen z and millennials, this collab can gain a lot of exposure across social media with reviews, TikToks, Instagram posts, etc. This project exemplifies my passion for marketing and communication. I came up with this idea for the purpose of marketing and my love for brands like these. I portray my marketing skills by designing the title of the collab, showing the lip gloss flavors, creating a mood board, and planning the launch video. It also shows my communications skills by showing collaboration between brands and attention to details such as the pop-up event. This project highlights my creativity and strategies such as collaboration, mood boards, pop up events, social media marketing, and brand launching.
